Debesh Roy was very much known as Bedouin in Bengali Literature for his incredible writing skill. He was born in Rajshahi in 1917. He was an active member of the Anti-British movement. He moves under Netaji (Subhash Chandra Basu). Later, he won the Rashtrapati Award in 1958 after the partition. His most powerful works are- Manush Keno Khun Kore, Siya Ekti Gopan Chakra, Hanoi Theke Saigon, Manobatmar Sandhane, Pothe Prantare, Kajoldighir Haspatal etc. In 1990 he received. Sahitya Akademy Puruskar for his novel Tista Parer Brittanta. He died in 2001.

Ato Kim is 1st person storyteller book. The person named Damu tells the total story of this book. Basically, this book was written as history based.  Some leading role is 'Harish Khuro', 'Imanur', 'Bimol' And 'Madhuri'.
