The low-Damodar valley region of Hoogly and Bordhaman district will not be exaggerated when speaking of Bengali folk tales. The first compilation of the Bangla story, the book, edited by Padri William Carey, is a very nice collection of stories collected from this region. Carey did not mention the findings of his collected stories anywhere. Later, I learned from various elements that these stories were collected from the subdued region. However, Padri Lalbihari De, in her book 'Folk Tales of Bengal', compiled some folk tales from this region and served it in English and commemorated the sub-division of the world to the world.
