Ebong Himu by Humayun Ahmed PDF

I felt quite disappointed reading this one after Parapar, which was far BETTER and perhaps the Best Himu I have read so far. The main reason for this is perhaps its predictability. From the beginning itself, when you read about the characters like Badrul, Reshma Khala and Ira for a couple of pages, you could clearly trace the pattern as what is going to happen with them. The author does not stray away from the predictable path, Ebong Himu even after getting so many chances. From the middle itself, you could see that Himu is going to get that job to Badrul or is going to leave Reshma Khala soon. Ira would also get influenced by Himu at one point in time or the other. At times, this story becomes preachy and lacks the classic humor that comes with the Himu stories. The story is good, no doubts about it, but here the presentation lacks a bit, in comparison with the former Himu novels.
