Gajendrakumara Mitra (born on November 11 – Death on 16 October 1994) was a prominent Indian Bengali writer, publisher and translator. Soon after the completion of school education, he started the monthly literary magazine ‘KathaSahitya’ with Sumathnath.
The first published novel was ‘Mone Chhilo Asha’ and the book of short stories was ‘Striyascaritram’. In 1969, his written novel ‘Kolkatar Kachhai’ got Academy award. ‘Kolkatar Kachhai’, ‘Upokanthe’, ‘Poush Faguner Pala’ the trilogy is considered as a landmark of modern Bengali fiction.
His writing field was great and extensive, he was foresighted in social novel, mythological novel, historical novel, juvenile literature. Today I want to share with all readers a story collection book of Horror Story.
